What is STS?

STS or Saudi Thoracic Society is a Society that is involved in promoting better practice in the in the field of thoracic diseases, encouraging research in the same field, and improving health education for the public about chest problems.

How to be a member of STS?

By filling up the membership application and paying the annual dues.

Where is the STS office located?

It is located in Riyadh. The main office is in the medical college, Department of Medicine, King Saud University.

What are the official publications of STS?

The official publications are:

1. The Annals of Thoracic Medicine: (ATM, ISSN 1817-1737) is the official publication of the Saudi Thoracic Society (STS). It features cutting edge clinical investigations in the multidisciplinary specialties of chest medicine, such as pulmonology, cardiology, thoracic surgery, transplantation, sleep and breathing, airways disease, and more. The journal also features basic science, special reports, case reports, board review questions, and more. Editorials and communications to the editor explore controversial issues and encourage further discussion by physicians dealing with chest medicine. The journal is published four times a year at the beginning of each quarter.

2. Attanafus Magazine: An Arabic Journal concerned about health education for the public and issued every 3 months.
